Discworld Stamps began with "Going Postal". As Terry was writing the book, Bernard was suggesting images and producing drawings.  Some stamps were suggested by Terry; others resulted from deep and meaningful consultations over a pint or two.

Since 2004 Discworld Stamps have been making Ankh-Morpork Post Office real. They are collected world-wide and in 2008 were given official recognition when they were added to the British Library philatelic collection.

Since their inception in the book and their appearance on the covers themselves, the stamps have become a global phenomenon. Discworld Stamps now have a starring role, gracing the small screen in Sky1's adaptation of Going Postal.

Our stamps draw their inspiration from the Discworld and are more than just stamps - they are tiny pieces of Discworld artwork, illustrating aspects from the entire length and breadth of the Discworld series.

We believe Discworld stamps to be amongst the very best 'Cinderella' stamps ever produced. It's a small, dedicated team that produces the stamps and we cover all the design disciplines, from some serious skills with pen, pencil and computer, to Bernard's own of being able to fill and light a tobacco pipe in gale force winds.

If you are new to Discworld stamps, the best place to get started is our dedicated newbies section entitled: 'Stamp Collecting for Beginners'.
