Bernard Pearson recalls how this artefact came into being: 'Sitting with Rod Brown (the producer of Hogfather) and Terry at the Hogswatch event 2006, I sort of mused that it would be really nice if we could make a replica of the brooch worn by Death and Susan in the film. Well Terry, bless him, said that as far as HE was concerned it was OK, and Rod Brown said that if Terry was happy about it, so was he.
So I got on to young Sean Green, who created the Anoia sculpture and he said that if he gave up sleep for a few nights, stayed off the Irnbrew and meths and was very good, he could have a play. Bless the boy, what a star, and a jolly clever pair of hands as well.'
And here it is in all its glory measuring approx 7cm (2¾ inches) by 4cm (1¾ inches). Made in lead-free pewter and delivered in a presentation box.
