Unseen Academicals is a book crowded with images. Some are nice and some you would not wish to experience at first hand.
In all of Terry’s books there are artefacts that cry out to be made and we’ve created quite a few; from the Unseen University to one of Dibbler’s pies.
Then, occasionally, out of the page, comes a description of something that is just so special it can be brought into existence, complete, fully formed, to scale, just as it would be if you visited that great city and came back with it in your pocket.
