Returns & Exchanges

We know that not everything bought on the web cuts the proverbial mustard, so we're happy to accept returns for exchange or refund!


If we send you the wrong size, or if an item arrives damaged, faulty or in any other unsatisfactory condition we will issue a full refund, voucher credit code or replacement if the item is returned to us within 60 days of order placement. We will also credit your return postage for damaged/faulty items. If anything is missing from your order then let us know as soon as possible and we will send a replacement immediately, or refund your account within a few days should the item be out of stock.

Non-defective merchandise, i.e. ill-fitting or unwanted items, duplicate gifts, or items surplus to requirements through no fault of our own must be returned in perfect, unopened (t-shirts excepted) condition within 60 days of order placement to qualify for a full refund or credit code. Clothing must be returned with tags still attached. If the original transaction was made by card outside the UK then we can only refund if the complete order is retunred to us - partial returns will be exchanged for a credit voucher. We cannot refund any EU or international taxes, duties or additional charges that were levied by receiving countires' customs or courier services to deliver the item/s.

Replacements and exchanges will only be sent once the original has been returned to us in perfect condition.

Sorry, but we cannot reimburse return postage costs or additional taxes paid for non-defective items.

SOCK POLICY - we're really sorry, but socks that have been tried on cannot be returned - folks can be sensitive about other peoples' feet.

For exchanges, please note the size (if applicable) of the item you require in exchange. Exchanges are only possible for same-priced like-for-like items (eg books) or a different size of the same item (t-shirts etc). Alternatively we can provide store credit in the form of a voucher code in exchange for unwanted goods.

Returns from international destinations requiring a Customs label: Please put a value of £0 or 'Returns: No Commercial Value' on the customs form.


Return your item/s together with a print-out of your order confirmation or order details from your account, or alternatively include a cover note with the original  purchaser's name and (if possible) order number along with your exchange request and delivery address (if applicable) to:

CANCELLATIONS

Our shipping time is from the day after the order is placed, though we sometimes ship the same day. Therefore cancellations must be requested immediately to stand the best chance of cancellation, though we can't guarantee that cancellation requests will be addressed before an order is processed. Otherwise, if your order has already been processed or shipped, you will be required to return the item(s) within 14 days after receipt to qualify for a refund. At this present time we do not have the facility for customers to cancel their own orders so cancellation requests must be made by email at shop@discworldemporium.com or by telephone at 01963 824686 (please have your order number to hand). We cannot reimburse return postage costs, taxes, duties or additional delivery charges levied by receiving countries for cancelled orders already dispatched.

Pre-ordered items may be cancelled at any time up to the specified date of release or availability, however payments are only refundable within 180 Days after the transaction date. After this time a credit voucher will be issued.
