From Ankh-Morpork to Zambingo, and Cori Celesti to the Circle Sea, we invite you to explore Terry Pratchett’s Discworld with the most incredibly detailed, double-sided, fully-illustrated, monumental map of the Discworld ever to have existed!

This exceptional feat of fantasy cartography has been hand-drawn over many, many months to depict not only the lands of the Disc, but its peoples, flora & fauna, commodities, routes of trade as well as divers figures expressing events both historical and mythological –  all meticulously rendered by master of fantasy cartography, Marc Moureau and faithful to the 1995 original ‘Discworld Mapp’ laid out by Stephen Briggs & illustrated by Stephen Player.

Marc’s exquisite vignettes feature characters and narrative elements which truly put the books on the map, giving you a foothold on Discworld like never before. Along the way you’ll meet witches, wizzards, dwarfs and trolls, tribal queens and educated rodents. Discover lost cities, toppled empires, celestial wonders and frozen wastes. Witness great feats of engineering, epic journeys and raging wars . . . all life on the Disc from from Rim to Hub is here on this landmark map.

One side features a stunning full colour rendition of the Discworld, while the reverse offers an annotated sepia-toned map bearing the names of topographical features, countries, continents and regions, oceans, rivers and settlements.

Presented, fit for your bookshelf, in a beautiful foil-blocked map sleeve, this enormous map folds out to measure 100 x 89cm as befitting the most richly-described world in fantasy literature.

Exclusively produced for The Discworld Emporium. Images not to scale.

ABOUT THE CARTOGRAPHERS

The Emporium’s chief designer Ian Mitchell has a history of Discworld cartography having produced a map of Ankh-Morpork for the board game of the same name in 2011. Terry liked what he saw and commissioned Ian to bring the original Discworld maps up to ‘Snuff’. The result was The Compleat Ankh-Morpork in 2012 created with Terry and Bernard & Isobel Pearson and illustrator Peter Dennis, followed maps for the Ankh-Morpork Hygienic Railway in 2013 for Raising Steam and Mrs Bradshaw’s Handbook and The Compleat Discworld Atlas in 2015.

Marc Moreau is a specialist fantasy cartographer and map illustrator for books, tabletop games, video games and RPG’s who contacted us some years ago offering his services in fantasy cartography. As a life-long Discworld fan to illustrate Terry’s world would be a feather in his cap, he said. He may now be living to regret sending that email.
